Softball: Lambert dominates Milton, clinches second place in region
Brooke Miller went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs as Lambert softball cruised to a 14-5 win at Milton on Tuesday in a Region 5-7A game.
With the win, the Longhorns locked up second place in the region. Lambert will be at home in the first round of the Class 7A state playoffs next Friday.
Kassidy Krupit had five hits and two RBI, Lindsey Nelsen was 3-for-3 with an RBI and Skylar Aledia, Kaley Varner and Ansley Dean each had two RBI apiece.
