Team Manitoba suffered a tough 2-1 OT loss to Alberta in their 2nd game of the Nationals. Caps' Callan Harland was involved in Manitoba's lone goal picking up an assist on the tying goal with just over 3 minutes remaining in the game to create the need for OT. Harland now has 2 points in the first 2 Manitoba games to lead the team

Callan Harland scores Team Manitoba's first goal at Hockey Canada's U18 National Championship. Callan's goal gave Manitoba a 1-0 lead and they actually led 7 time National Champion Ontario Red 2-1 after the 1st period but 5 - 2nd period goals by the defending champions secured an 8-2 win over Manitoba.
