Eagles Coast to 6-4 Victory over Cate

Oak Park jumped out to a 6-0 lead against Cate on Wednesday at Medea Creek and coasted to a 6-4 victory in a game that wasn’t as close as the score indicated. Ryan Weise led Oak Park with 2 goals. Ryan Darling added a goal and an assist while Cody Skene, Kevin Marshall and Grant Consoletti each netted a goal in the victory. Grayson Phillips and Trevor Goehring each contributed an assist to round out the Eagle scoring.
The Eagles (5-6) are now ranked 18th in the Southern Section CIF and play Harvard Westlake (4-2) who are two spots ahead at 16th on Saturday at Harvard Westlake at 1:00.
