The IGHL!
Beginning on November 11th, girl's school travel teams throughout Indiana will have a premier league in which they can compete. The Indy Girls Hoops League (IGHL) will begin competitive play for girl's in grades 3rd through 6th. The IGHL will be played on Sundays from November 2007 to February 2008.
IGHL is directed by Indiana Girl's High School Coaches. The IGHL encourages the coach of any high school program to be in contact and share ideas on continuing to develop Indiana's young basketball players.
The focus of the IGHL is keep costs to a minimum while providing the highest quality competitive enviroment for Indiana's youth players. Our vision is to foster the growth of girl's play in a statewide network, linked together by coaches, regional play and a solid administration. The league will develop scholarships for graduating high school players of participating schools.
