Season Ends with Loss to Rogers

With a tough 45-43 loss to Rogers on Friday the season ended earlier then anyone thought. After losing Lauren Neff to an injury in warm ups and having Sierra Brown be able to play very minimal minutes due to foul trouble the Papermakers battled hard but were unable to overcome all the adversity in the end. The girls played their hearts out and left it all on the line, but just came up short. All of them should be extremely proud of the effort and energy that they put forth in the loss. This season was marked by the fourth straight year that the program reached the bi-district tournamanet. Great job Papermakers!

Summer League Wrap-Up and Moving Forward

The summer season officially ended on Saturday at the University of Washington team camp. Before that our teams competed in the highly competitive Southridge, Prairie and Oregon City tournaments. All told the team played approximately 20 games and learned a great deal about itself. Without question the team has a lot of work to do before the real season. At the same time their are many quality basketball players that provide excellent hope for the coming season. After losing Sydney Allen, Tatum Schroeder and Jenka Stiasna their will be many doubters for sure. To the coaches and players that's fine. Our response: Keep doubting us! See you in November!
