LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Georgetown senior Allan Thomas is the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

The Queens, N.Y. guard averaged 26 points and 10.5 rebounds as the Tigers split MSC road games last week.

On Saturday, Thomas posted career highs with 34 points and 12 rebounds in the Tigers' 91-82 loss at No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson. He connected on 10-of-17 from the field, including 4-for-6 from beyond the 3-point arc. Thomas also made 10 of his 12 free throw attempts.

Thomas ended the week with shooting 55.2 percent (16-of-29) from the field, including 66.7 percent (6-of-9) from beyond the 3-point arc. He made 14-of-16 (87.5 percent) freebies during the two games. Thomas ranks 15th in the Mid-South in scoring (14.4 points per game). He is second in the conference in 3-point shooting (44.1) and fourth in field goal percentage (50.9). Thomas ranks 15th in 3-point shooting in the NAIA.

No. 13-ranked Georgetown is 21-7 overall and 13-6 in the Mid-South.
