Oak Park played it's last regular season game Wednesday, easily shutting out Jordan High School 23-0. Playing a fairly new lacrosse program Oak Park had an opportunity to get everyone in the final game. It ended up being the final game due to the Ojai Valley forfeit. Following the Jordan game, the season truly ended on a wonderfully surprising note. Oak Park parents, coaches and players invited the Jordan players to join them for dinner and ended up creating quite a bond between the Eagle Lacrosse program and the newly formed Jordan team from East 103rd Street in downtown L.A. Displaying a class amount of gratitude, the Jordan Lacrosse team thanked the Eagle boys, ending the evening as if they had just won a championship game. Sometimes people need to know this side of the game. This is where the passion comes from.
