Stacia Cowen threw a gem on Tuesday for West Lincoln Lady Rebels, allowing zero runs and besting East Lincoln JV by a score of 13-0. Cowen took the win for West Lincoln. The righthander surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out eight and walking zero. Robinson took the loss for East Lincoln JV. Robinson surrendered six runs on three hits over one inning, striking out one.
West Lincoln opened up scoring in the first inning. Macy Robinson's wild pitch allowed one run to score for Lady Rebels JV. West Lincoln scored six runs in the fourth inning. Bayleigh McNeely, Jordan Huss, Cailey Capps, Koragan Hullette, and Cowen each drove in runs during the inning. Cowen went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity in hits.
West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity Can't Catch Up To East Lincoln
West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 7-2 loss to East Lincoln on Tuesday. East Lincoln scored on a home run by Taliyah Thomas in the first inning, a single by Taniyah Thomas in the second inning, and a groundout by Thomas in the second inning. Leah Correll earned the win for East Lincoln. Correll surrendered two runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out six. East Lincoln collected nine hits. Betsy Eatmon and Thomas all had multiple hits for East Lincoln. East Lincoln didn't commit a single error in the field.
Harlie Burton took the loss for Lady Rebels. The righty surrendered six runs on eight hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out three. Kayla Wehunt, Bailey Huss, Chole Norman, and Amelia May each collected one hit to lead West Lincoln.
