West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity Claims Victory Over Kings Mountain In Blow-Out Fashion, 15-2

 

West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity had no trouble on offense today, winning big over Kings Mountain 15-2.  West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity got things started in the first inning. Chole Norman grounded out, scoring one run.  West Lincoln scored seven runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by the Lady Rebels was led by NormanCarolina RobinsonEtta GodfreyFarrah Richardson, and Gracie Elmore, who each had RBIs in the inning.  West Lincoln collected 15 hits on the day. ElmoreBailey Huss, and Richardson all managed multiple hits for West Lincoln Lady Rebels VarsityElmore went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity in hits.

 

Harlie Burton was the winning pitcher for West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity. The righthander went three innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out one and walking zero. Stacia Cowen threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Kali Weaver started the game for Kings Mountain. The hurler went two and two-thirds innings, allowing nine runs on seven hits and striking out two.  Andrea Melton took the loss for Kings Mountain. The bulldog went three and a third innings, allowing six runs on eight hits and striking out three.

 

 

 

Four RBI Day For Bailey Huss Seals The Deal In West Lincoln Lady Rebel's Victory Over North Gaston

 

Bailey Huss was an RBI machine on Tuesday, driving in four on two hits to lead West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity past North Gaston 14-5 on Tuesday. Huss drove in runs on a home run in the third and a single in the fifth.

 

West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity earned the victory despite allowing North Gaston to score three runs in the third inning. Madison SipePayton Propst, and Alaina Love all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  North Gaston took an early lead in the second inning. Love drove in one when Love singled.  North Gaston racked up ten hits on the day. Leeza Rhyne and Love all managed multiple hits for North Gaston. Rhyne led North Gaston with three hits in four at bats

 

West Lincoln knotted the game up at five in the bottom of the third inning. Huss homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.  The Lady Rebels took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Gracie Elmore singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.  The Lady Rebels scored seven runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity was led by HussAddisyn RobinsonChole Norman, and Amelia May, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  West Lincoln tallied one home run on the day. Huss had a long ball in the third inning.  The Lady Rebels racked up 13 hits. NormanElmoreHuss, and Farrah Richardson each had multiple hits for West Lincoln Lady Rebels VarsityRichardsonHussElmore, and Norman each managed two hits to lead West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity

West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity Drops Game To Burns After Late Score

 

West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity lost the lead late in a 6-5 defeat to Burns on Wednesday.  

 

West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity scored three runs in the second inning. Addisyn Robinson and Farrah Richardson each had RBIs in the big inning.  Lady Rebels collected 12 hits on the day. RichardsonBailey HussKayla Wehunt, and Robinson all collected multiple hits for West Lincoln Lady Rebels VarsityHuss and Richardson each managed three hits to lead West Lincoln Lady Rebels VarsityWest Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Richardson had the most chances in the field with seven. 

 

The game was tied at five with Burns batting in the top of the ninth when J Bivens singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.  Burns knotted the game up at five in the top of the sixth inning. Burns scored two runs when H Morgan doubled.  Burns racked up 12 hits in the game. BivensPcookMorgan, and M Ivie each had multiple hits for Burns. Bivens went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Burns in hits. Burns didn't commit a single error in the field
