Two Pitchers Work Together As West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity Shuts Out Lincolnton

West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity defeated Lincolnton 10-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Stacia Cowen struck out Kail Williams to finish off the game.  Harlie Burton earned the win for West Lincoln. Burton went four innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out two. Cowen threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.  The Lady Rebels scored four runs in the fifth inning. Bailey Huss, Cowen, and Katelyn Ballenger all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  Addisyn Robinson went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead West Linoln in hits.

Skyler Crane took the loss for Lincolnton. The hurler surrendered six runs on seven hits over two and a third innings, striking out two and walking zero.
