Early Lead For R-S Central Seals Fate For West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity

     West Lincoln Lady Rebels Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 5-1 loss to R-S Central on Tuesday. R-S Central scored on a single by Kadence Hopper in the first inning, a error in the second inning, a double by Macy Greene in the second inning, and a error in the second inning.  R-S Central got things moving in the first inning. Hopper singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.  R-S Central scored four more runs in the second inning. Alexis Nanney, Greene, and Emily Huddleston all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.  R-S Central had 11 hits in the game. Greene, Lani Warren, and Nanney each racked up multiple hits for R-S Central. Greene led R-S Central with three hits in four at bats.

     Logan Harris was credited with the victory for R-S Central. The fireballer surrendered one run on three hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out six.  Harlie Burton took the loss for West Lincoln. The righty surrendered five runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out one and walking zero.  Carolina Robinson, Kayla Wehunt, and Bailey Huss all had one hit to lead the Lady Rebels.
