Games Ending in a Tie
As voted on and approved by all teams there will be no more ties this season.
Regular Season games will be decided by a shootout. If a game ends in a tie each team will choose 3 shooters and alternate shots until all three have gone or one team wins the shootout. Home team will have choice of which team shoots first. If the game is still tied after 3 shooters, sudden death shootout will begin until a winner is determined. No player can shoot twice until the entire team has taken a shot.
Playoffs games that end in a tie wil follow the shootout rules only when it is not an elimination game.
If this is an elimination game the first overtime period will be ten minutes or until a winner is determined. If still tied after the first overtime period each overtime period after the first will be 20 minutes in duration, until a winner is determined.
Eligibility for Playoffs
As voted on and approved by all teams each player must play a minimum of ten games in the regular season to qualify to play for their team in the plafoffs.
Team reps will be responsible to keep track of players that play each game and will be required to keep copies of the game sheets proving the players were in attendance at the game.
The executive will be collecting copies of the original game sheets to use as a comparison in the event of a dispute of a players eligibility.
