Life Begins After 40 for the Gitlers Gorillas as 2013-14 Season Awaits

Labor Day usually brings us to a crossroads in time for all with the end of summer upon us. For most, it's time to put away the bathing speedos, the SPF 55 spray cans, the golf clubs and those cheating pencils. For a true Gorilla it's time to awake from hockey hibernation which means shedding a few of those extra pounds, cleaning out (maybe finding?) the hockey gear and Green and White unis hidden in the basement since last March and looking forward to a brand new season of Gorilla hockey.

Update 1: The 2013-14 Gorilla Hockey Season - The Gitlers Gorillas have been registered to play their 41st season at the Icehouse Adult Hockey League, Hackensack, NJ in the competitive DIV 5. I don't have a lot of details (and probably won't until close to the end of the month) but it looks like most if not all the games will be again on Tuesday night.and the season will start the 1st or 2nd week in October.
I am hoping that youse guys are as excited as I am to play this season. Please let me know if you are IN by responding to this email. You will have the ability to pay in full (most likely close to last yeat - $450) or game-y-game (at least $30 but it may go up once I work out the financials).NOTE - It looks like old-time Gorillas D man, Rob Yurman, will be rejoining the team, now that is Tuesday nights have been freed up. This is great news since Rob main attribute he brings to the team is the quality of beer he brings to the locker room.
