BOYS HOCKEY, Nathan Corey -- The South High senior finished his high school career on top, helping the Wolverines beat Dimond 2-1 to capture their third consecutive Class 4A state hockey championship last weekend. The three-time first-team All-State goalie made 23 saves, including a point-blank shot with less than 10 seconds remaining to seal South's victory. Corey has played goal for all three South state titles. He finished this season unbeaten (15-0-1), and earned 11 shutouts with a 0.38 goals against average and 0.98 save percentage in 720 minutes.
