EVENTS STILL TO COME
3/20/2011

Although the Patriots hockey team has finished its games for this season, there are still two important events to come.

First, one week from today, on March 27, Dewey Rosa will receive the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.  The presentation will be made during the Providence Bruins game at the Dunkin’ Donuts Arena.  The game begins at 4:05 pm.  So far 32 players and family members have made arrangements through Coach Monahan to attend.  If you would still like to go, but do not have tickets yet, they can be arranged through the P-Bruins ticket office directly.  Coach Monahan said he may still be able to assist with this, so if you would like to be there to see Dewey get this nationally recognized award, contact him as soon as possible.  The Coach’s email and phone number are on the home page of this web site.

The second event of note will occur one week later, on April 3.  The team, families, friends, and fans will gather at KJ’s Restaurant and Pub, on Aquidneck Avenue in Middletown, from 4:30-7:00 pm, for the end of season dinner.  The entire second floor of KJ’s has been reserved for the occasion.  The buffet menu will include chicken parmesan, baked cod, pasta primavera, mashed potatoes, salad, cake, and soft drinks.  Cost is just $25 per person.  A kids menu, chicken fingers and fries, is available for those under 12 years of age and is just $6.50.  Patriots hockey players are, of course, free.  If you are interested in attending, and have not yet made your reservations, please contact Dan Abraham at:  daniel.abraham@hubinternational.com.
