Men's Basketball Ends Season in
Semi-Final Overtime Loss 87-86

The #2 seed Brunswick Community College men's basketball team lost in a thriller overtime Region 10 semi-final matchup against #3 seed USC-Salkehatchie on Friday 87-86. The Dolphins defeated Clinton Junior College on Thursday evening 84-55 in the quarter finals at USC-Salkehatchie.
The #1 seed Spartanburg Methodist (32-0) defeated #3 USC Salkehatchie (15-17) by a narrow margin of 65-62 in the Championship Game on Saturday, March 9th. Both teams will travel to Hutchinson, KS, to compete in the DI National Championships from March 18-24.
Two BCC players received Region 10 Awards at the annual awards ceremony last Thursday night. Quinton Morrow, a sophomore from Burlington, NC, received the First Team All-Region Award, and Khari Faison, a sophomore from Dudley, NC, received Second Team All-Region as well as an Individual Student-Athlete Award - Newcomer of the Year.
The Dolphins finished their season at 21-11 overall and 8-5 in conference play.
