Portsmouth will square off against the Prout Crusaders in the semi-final round of the State Championship Playoffs this weekend.  The best two out of three series will determine which team advances to the finals.

Game 1 will be played Friday night, March 9, at the University of Rhode Island Boss Arena at 8:30 PM.  The game will follow a contest between Coventry and Pilgrim, the other two contenders in the semi-finals.  The winner of that series will play the winner of the Portsmouth – Prout series in the D-II State Championships.

Game 2 will be at the Abbey at 7:30 on Saturday, March 10.

Game 3, if required, will be played Monday, March 12.  The location and time will be published if the game is required.

The Patriots took the regular season series with the Crusaders 2-1.  Still, this is playoff hockey and the Crusaders are not likely to go down easily.  Portsmouth will be ready to play its best, and the series is sure to be exciting.  You won’t want to miss these games, and the Patriots can use your support.  Make plans now to see these games and root for the Patriots!
