Women's Volleyball Defeated in Tri-match

The BCC Women's Volleyball Team lost a pair of matches this weekend at home. The Lady Dolphins were defeated by Surry Community College 25-19, 25-11, 25-16 on Saturday. Haley Miller lead the team with the highest hitting percentage at .428 along with 8 assists, while sophomore Crystal Hicks recorded 9 digs on the match. Amber Goodwin had 7 digs and one block assist.

In the second game against Cape Fear, BCC lost 25-10, 25-11, 25-10. Haley Miller hit .285, while freshman Reyna McHetz hit .214 with 5 kills and had 2 blocks and 2 block assists. Crystal Hicks recorded 10 digs, and one ace. Freshman Katrina Brown had 3 solo blocks and 2 block assists.

BCC will be on the road this Friday, September 27, when they travel to Cape Fear Community College and play Wake Tech in a tri-match.
