SENIOR CELEBRATION EXHIBITIONS
3/27/2013

Two special events are scheduled at the West Warwick Civic Center this weekend to close out the 2012-13 high school hockey season.  On Friday, March 29, at 7:00 PM the Senior Skills Competition will take place, and on the following evening, Saturday, March 30, at 6:00 PM the Senior Showcase Game will be featured.

Participants in these two special events are all seniors selected by the Division II coaches.  They are the Class of 2013 All Stars from each of their respective teams competing together.

These events have not been held for a number of years, and this is the first time in which only seniors will participate. The first event, the Skills Competition, will feature individual contests to determine the fastest skater, most accurate shooter, and the best performer in several other categories of hockey skills.  The Showcase Game could, perhaps, best be describes as the Senior All Star Game, with the players being divided into two teams and playing for bragging rights.

Matthew Harrigan and Dallas Wynegar have been selected to represent the Patriots in both events.  Additionally, Cam Hebert, was selected to play in the Showcase Game, but is unable to participate.

If you are looking for one more dose of high school hockey before the current season is closed out, this is your opportunity.  This is your chance to see the senior players who are among the best in the league, one last time.  Both events are sure to be fun, exciting, and worth the trip to the West Warwick Civic Center.
