Basketball Teams Defeat Rival Cape Fear

Bolivia, NC - The Brunswick Community College Men's and Women's Basketball Teams successfully defended their home court on Saturday when they took down the Sea Devils of Cape Fear Community College.

The Lady Dolphins (9-5, 3-2) secured the closely contested game with a 79-74 win over the undefeated, nationally ranked #7 Sea Devils.  For complete story and stats, click on the Women's Basketball link above.

In the second game, the BCC men (10-8, 1-0) defeated Cape Fear (7-10, 0-1) 84-67. The Dolphins led by as many as 24 points in the second half.  Cam Jones, the sophomore point guard from Roanoke, Virginia, had a game-high 31 points and 10 rebounds.  Freshman shooting guard JacQues Chambers tossed in 15 points.
