Coach Gaughan announces 2015-2016 roster

Starting his 4th year as the Lady Dolphins head coach Joe Gaughan has announced his 2015-2016 roster.

The 11 man line up is featured by 4 returning players and seven new faces.

Brianna Baham ( Laney HS) returns coming off a freshman campaign where she was honored at season end as a 1st team all conference member. She is joined by fellow returning Sophomores A.J. Mays (N. Brunswick HS), D'Aysa Wilson (Riverside HS)  and Rocio Pecina (Red Springs HS).

They are joined by transfer Sophomores Jasmine Dixion (Clayton HS/Virginia State University) and Annie Mercer (Cape Fear Academy/Hood College).

Incoming Freshman are: Lauren Jenkins (East Columbus) who will bring a unique ability to rebound and score. Her senior year she was the Three Rivers Conference player of the year. Myanna Cuthbertson (West Craven HS) is a powerful player and will be a force in the post. Shelexia Pack (Lakewood HS) has speed and is a defensive stopper along with her ability to get to the basket. She lead her team to the Class AAA State Championship game in her senior year. Brittnee Taylor (W. Brunswick HS)  will provided the Lady Dolphins with a rebounder and passer. Daisha Jordan ( Harrell Christian Academy) is a consistent scorer and rebounder. She averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds her senior season.
