🏃♂️ Timberwolves XC Team Shines at PCL Cluster Meet! 🏃♀️
Last week, the NHS Timberwolves Cross Country team kicked off the PCL cluster meet with some fantastic performances at Mason Park, competing during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Meet Highlights:
JV Girls:Kasia Lien won the the division with a time of 22.40
JV Boys: Junior Micheal Tian was top finisher at 11th place in 17:57
Frosh Girls:Ariana Sharma ran second at 20:54 and is progressing into a solid runner!
Frosh Boys:Collin Huynh finished strong in 4th place running 17:53
At the varsity level, the girls team finished 2nd overall, showing solid progress with runners Maia Murthy, Oliva Wang, Zara Commissariat, Audrey Ma, Alice Li, Braelynn Lynch, and Charlie Collins-Williams. The varsity boys placed 2nd, with great efforts from Xander Mak, Jeremy Kang, Ray Hsiao, Jeremy Kang, Parker Nies, Wesley Parker, Bryan Huang
Athlete Spotlights:
Gavin Connell is on the upswing as we head into the final month of the season.
Nora Muldoon Is back from a minor injury and is eager to break into the varsity ranks.
Athletes of the Week:
Kasia Lien — She is the league favorite to win the JV girls Championship after a solid race in the PCL Cluster
Micheal Tian — Running under 18 minutes for the firs time and being our top JV boys
Caleb Davidson — Had a solid PCL cluster race and has shown great improvement
