8^th Annual “Tyler’s Team” Charity Poker Classic

“Giving Back To Palm Beach County Sports Teams”

Wellington, FL - The Tyler McLellan Foundation is getting ready for the 8th Annual “Tyler’s Team” Charity Poker Classic being held on Sunday March 25, 2018 at the Palm Beach Kennel Club. This year TMF will be giving back to multiple youth sports teams all from Palm Beach County. This is the eighth consecutive year the Palm Beach Kennel Club has hosted this event.

TMF President Kevin McLellan says, “2018 is the tenth year of our son’s passing and our 8^th year holding this event in his name, all to help keep kids in youth sports”. This year TMF will be donating back 20% to each Palm Beach County Sports Team. Teams will be chosen on a “first come, first serve” basis. To qualify for placement, each team must pre-pay registration of 10 players ($500.00) prior to January 19, 2018. As you can imagine, they expect a great response from teams to get involved with this opportunity, as their will be a limit of fifteen (15) teams.  They ask that if you are interested, you lock up your team’s spot soon before they are full.”  McLellan add’s: “this is probably the easiest way to: raise money for your sports team, eat for free, and have a great time while supporting a great cause.  Trophies will also be given for 1^st - 3^rd place to the teams with the most tournament players.

The Texas Hold’Em fundraiser will offer all players a great day of camaraderie and some good poker and fun while helping a very worthy cause that helps to keep kids in youth sports.  The event will offer players a complimentary buffet and soft drinks from 12:00-3:00pm along with celebrity bounties w/prizes and a silent auction.  TMF will also be having thier “Ultimate 50/50” raffle that will start in January and will be drawn the day of the event.  The best part of this raffle is: “you don’t have to be present to win”.  Tickets are $5.00 each and 6 for $20.00 and will be available through TMF staff and online at through their website. 

Buy in is $50.00 with $20.00 re-buys and $10.00 add on’s.  The tournament will start at 1pm sharp and pay the top 10% of the field.  The winner takes home the “Tyler’s Cup” trophy, a 1oz.Silver Commemorative Tournament Coin and $500.00 of FREE PBKC Tournament Buy Ins, along with a cash prize.
