RCWC
Rocket City Wrestling Club was established in 2017 by Nate Cunningham to offer off season training for 7th-12th grade athletes from the Grissom High School program. In summer of 2019 Brandon Medal was handed down RCWC, and has grown the club tremendously. He now extends an invitation to all 7th-12th grade wrestlers from the North Alabama region to take their training to the next level at RCWC. Although the club is oriented to middle and high school students, RCWC offers private training lessons for all ages.
Rocket City Wrestling Club (RCWC) is a North Alabama Wrestling Club, training athletes to become the best and toughest in the sport of wrestling. Building up from the fundamentals we tailor each wrestlers unique style. Geared towards training 7th-12th graders in Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. We will work on becoming proficient on the basics skills each wrestler already knows, as well as learn new techniques and skills. Offseason wrestling is meant to be a time that is not only fun, but also where wrestlers can improve their techniques, and take their wrestling to the next level for seasons to come.
PRACTICES AND FACILITIES
We will practice 2 days a week at the Grissom High School Wrestling room. I will send out a practice schedule the first day of club, as well as post it on the RCWC web page/FB page. I will also send out groupMe messages each week as a reminder. I will do my best to keep it as consistent as possible.
CLUB FEES
We have 3 different payment options for the off season: $40/month, $140/4 months ($35/month), $240/8 months ($30/month). Siblings will receive an additional $5 monthly discount.
****1 on 1 private sessions are available and are prices $35/1 hour session. If your wrestler has a partner they would like to practice with for 1 on 2 lessons are $25/wrestler/1 hour session. Limited slots are available and are at a first come first serve basis.****
