JUNE 27, 2016 - The '04 Mavs continued their season success, winning the NHG Cup this past weekend in Blaine, MN.

In the lone game on Friday, the '04 Mavs started off with a 10-0 shutout against the SoDak Solar Bears. With Saturday's doubleheader, the Mavs continued their stellar defense, recording their 2nd straight shutout in their 10-0 win over Twin Cities Blast. The Mavs then beat the Twin Cities Vulcans 6-1, finishing the round robin 3-0 and advancing to the NHG Cup Championship against the Iron Range Blast.

The '04 Mavs shut down the Blast, winning the NHG Cup 8-0. This was the Mavs 3rd shutout of the weekend.
