Morehead City, NC- The Dolphins started the tournament on a high note, coming out Friday night beating Surry 11-1 in 5-innings.  After a heart breaking 1-0 loss to CVCC in 2nd round action, the Fin's went on a tear coming out of the loser's bracket to compete in the championship game Monday morning.

After losing in round 2, Robbie Allen's Dolphin squad caught a second wind. They went on to eliminate Southeastern Community College (2nd seed), Surry Community College (4th seed), and Lenoir Community College (7th seed).

With their backs to the wall early, the Fin's came roaring back in the field of 8 to be in the championship game Monday morning against CVCC (1st seed). BCC's strong effort fell just short as they were routed by CVCC who will advance to the NJCAA World Series next weekend.

The Dolphins captured yet another 30+ win season and were also honored at the tournament with 2 Dolphin's being named to the 1st-team All-Region team, Sophomore Mike Green and Freshman OF Jonathan Corbett.
