The Selects had a good weekend in Stoney Creek with wins against Sault Ste Marie, Whitby and OHA while dropping contests with Durham West and Nepean Black. Over the weekend the Selects out scored their opponents 11-8 and continue to bond as a team, both on and off the ice. Coach Bram was very impressed with the effort of all the players and spoke in high regard on how the team is coming together.

The Selects next test comes this weekend as they head to the Central Plains Showcase where they will face off against MFMHL rivals, the Yellowhead Chiefs and the Pembina Valley Hawks. The team will also go up against Melville and Battleford, both out of the SFMAAAHL to round out the weekend.
