Wednesday 28 Jan 2026, Mission Vista held the North County Conference  Championship for the women wrestling.

Mission Vista had four wrestlers representing. Luciana Boring at 102 lbs brought third place. Billi Readinger was wrestling a weight up at 112lbs and she ended up bringing 2nd place(she wrestles at 107lbs).  Vanessa Calderon wrestle at 127lbs losing both her matches, Vanessa is coming out of her shell, she took some great leg shots got in just to lose her balance and her opponnent capitalizing on that mistake. Very proud of her that she finally being aggressive.  The last competitor for the the Timberwolves was Grace Delfin, she won a hard first round match, in her second match Grace got injured and had to injur default cutting her night short.

TImberwolves ladies ended up on 9th place out of 19 teams.
