February 21 2026, Billi Readinger and Thyme Stavis travel to Eastlake to compete at their last state qualifer.  Thyme Stavis was a alternate and she was hoping someone else missed weight or didn't show up to the weigh ins. That was not the circumstances all the girls in her weight made weigh so Thyme was not able to compete.  Billi Readinger made weight and she came in there with a mission she pin her first opponnent. Moving to the quarter finals Billi tech fall her opponnent 17-2. That moved her to the semi-finals where she would wrestle a strong Poway girl. The match didn't go her way and she lost by pin droppin her to the consolation semi finals. In her consolation semifinals Billi came in very physical and took her opponnent down and ended up pinning her.  Her next match was a very important match win and you punch your ticket to State.  Billi match was intense the first period ended 0-0. The start of second period her opponent takes down and manage to get out they had couple of exchanges but nothing came out of it and period ends 1-0 in favor of her opponent. Third period Billie choses down and she was fighting to escape but couldn't and Billie made one crucial mistake that cost her the match. 

Billi ends her season taking 4th. Mission Vista Wrestling is very proud of her and the rest of her team.  Billi made history by being the first Masters placer for the program.
