McHUGH SELECTED FOR SENIOR SKILLS COMPETITION
2/27/2017

Noah McHugh has been selected as the Patriots representative to participate in the annual Rhode Island High School Hockey Senior Skills Competition.  The event is scheduled to take place next Sunday, March 5, immediately following the Providence Bruins game at the Dunkin Donuts Center.

In a break from previous years, this season’s event will feature only one player from each team.  By limiting the number of players participating the organizers hope to produce a faster paced and more exciting program.  Noah was chosen for his abilities and success on the ice throughout the current campaign.

This skills competition will be preceded by the P-Bruins game versus the Lehigh Valley Phantoms which will also feature the recognition of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award recipients.  Portsmouth’s Michael Adkins will be honored at that ceremony.

Players, families, friends, and fans of Patriots hockey are all invited to attend the game, watch the Hobey Baker recognition, and stay for the skills competition.  It’s a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  The game starts at 3:05.  If you don’t already have tickets and would like to attend and sit with Portsmouth as a group call the P-Bruins ticket agent Mr. Eric Charles at 401-680-4710 anytime until 12:00 pm this Friday.

Congratulations to Noah for being picked to represent the Patriots’ in the Senior Skills Competition.
