“I’m excited to continue playing the sport I love, and get to go to a school on the east coast in New York

at Morrisville State, I plan on studying renewable energy. I talked to Coach White last year (about coming then) but decided to play one more year with Blades to get bigger and stronger. Steele County helped me be a better player on and off the ice, and they helped me find the right school for me. The past two years here in Owatonna have been really good and won’t be forgotten; good friends and good people that housed me. I would like to thank the guys for getting pucks deep, putting pucks on net, and banging bodies. I am excited to finish the year here and make a push in the postseason.”

Morrisville State Assistant Coach Connor White expressed joy in Kyle’s commitment. “We are excited to have Kyle committed for the start next season as part of the Men’s Hockey Program here at Morrisville State College.” He continued “Kyle is a guy that we targeted since last season as we saw him as a player that could come in and help us right away in an important role, particularly face-offs. The numbers speak for themselves, in his win to loss ratio in the faceoff circle. It’s an area where are looking to improve and we have no doubt that Kyle will significantly help in area.”
