PATRIOTS TOPPLE TITANS
2/17/2018

Portsmouth scored three first period goals which proved to be more than enough to down the Toll Gate Titans at the Thayer Arena in Warwick Friday night.  Tim Jackson opened the scoring for the Patriots five minutes into the game and then assisted on Christian Schenck’s eventual game winning tally at the 11:10 mark.  Max Dooley rounded out the team’s scoring with the insurance goal at 13:03.  Besides Jackson, other players earning assists were Jack Cavanagh, Mike Alves, Isaiah Kittel, Cam Mello and Jake Fagan.  Matt Nordhill in goal for Portsmouth had 16 saves.  The Patriots outshot the Titans 20-17.

The Patriots are back on the ice for an afternoon game this Sunday, February 18, at the Abbey.  The puck will drop to start the contest at 4:00 pm.  Sunday afternoon is a great time to watch a hockey game so plan to head to the Abbey and cheer for Portsmouth.  See you at the rink.
