Cynáa-Nicole Moorman to Headline National Anthem at DREAMERS Home Opener

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MANASSAS, VA — The Park City DREAMERS are proud to announce that rising star and Northern Virginia native Cynáa-Nicole Moorman will perform the National Anthem at the team's highly anticipated 2026 Home Opener on March 1.

 

As the DREAMERS take to the court to kick off the home season, fans will be treated to a performance by one of the region’s most decorated young vocalists. Cynáa-Nicole’s appearance marks a homecoming for the artist, who has recently gained national acclaim for her work across classical, soul, and R&B genres.


About the Artist: Cynáa-Nicole Moorman

Cynáa-Nicole Moorman is an 18-year-old vocalist, musician, and songwriter from Northern Virginia. A June 2025 graduate of the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., she served as the Vocal Department Representative and is recognized as a formidable force in the performing arts.

A Decorated Career

With over a decade of experience in music, dance, and acting, Cynáa-Nicole is a multi-talented artist and skilled pianist, having trained with InTune Music Studio/Davis Dynasty since 2017. Her competitive accolades include:

  • Young Master for Music Competition Winner: Awarded by The Links, Incorporated (2024).

  • Dual Gold Medalist: Took home top honors in both Vocal: Classical and Vocal: Contemporary at the PWC ACT-SO local competition before competing on the national stage in Las Vegas.

  • Berklee College of Music Scholar: Earned a scholarship through the B4 Program in 2024.

High-Profile Performances

Cynáa-Nicole’s voice has resonated at some of the nation’s most historic venues. As a member of the Duke Ellington Concert Choir, she has performed at the White House and the Kennedy Center. In 2025, she performed with Patrick Lundy’s Ministers of Music at the Capitol Fourth celebration, providing background vocals for Grammy winners Lauren Daigle and Yolanda Adams. She has also given private performances for icons such as Dionne Warwick.

 

Entrepreneurship and Artistry

Beyond her vocal prowess, Cynáa-Nicole is a creative entrepreneur. She is the owner of the hair business Stylez by Cynáa and a recognized fashion designer whose work was featured in Duke Ellington’s 50th Anniversary Fashion Show at Saks Fifth Avenue.

 

In December 2025, she reached a major career milestone with her first sold-out headline concert, “A Night of Soul with Cynáa-Nicole,” showcasing her growth as a lead performer in jazz and neo-soul.

 

Looking Ahead

Currently taking a gap year to focus on her artistry and entrepreneurial pursuits in business and real estate, Cynáa-Nicole has been accepted into world-class institutions including Berklee College of Music, The New School, and Jackson State University. Her long-term goals remain centered on performing, writing, and producing original music.
