April 2nd — The East Coast Basketball League has announced that the Philly Raiders will not participate as a travel team for the 2026 season.
The Raiders were originally scheduled to play four games this season, including matchups against Kingdom Life Basketball Club (KLBC), Winston-Salem Wolfpack, and upcoming games on April 11th and 12th against the Carolina Chosen Lions and Petersburg Cavaliers.
To maintain schedule balance and competitive integrity, the ECBL has made the following adjustments:
Carolina Chosen Lions will now travel to face the Petersburg Cavaliers on Sunday, April 12th. The game will be streamed live in partnership with Nextdoor Radio on the ECBLHoops YouTube Channel.
Winston-Salem Wolfpack will host Kingdom Life Basketball Club in a highly anticipated rematch of their overtime battle from last month. That game is scheduled for May 3rd at 2:00 PM.
That matchup will be part of a doubleheader at Winston-Salem Christian School, with the SC Upstate RedHawks facing the Carolina Chosen Lions at 5:30 PM.
These adjustments ensure that all teams will have replacement games and maintain a balanced 14-game regular season schedule.
