April 4th Wake Forest NC - The North Carolina Capitals completed the season sweep over the NC Coyotes with a strong 115–106 victory Saturday evening at Rolesville High School, taking control early and maintaining their edge throughout the contest. The Capitals set the tone in the opening quarter, jumping out to a 31–24 lead and continuing that momentum into the second quarter. Behind efficient offense and balanced scoring, North Carolina extended their advantage to 61–48 at halftime, putting the Coyotes in an early hole. NC Coyotes responded with a push in the third quarter, outscoring the Capitals 31–27 to cut into the deficit, but North Carolina answered every run. Both teams matched each other with 27 points in the fourth, allowing the Capitals to comfortably close out the nine-point win and secure the 2–0 season series sweep. North Carolina Capitals  were led by a dominant inside presence from Dyron Jones, who poured in 24 points while controlling the paint. Donovan Martin delivered a huge all-around performance with 20 points and an impressive 16 rebounds, anchoring the Capitals on the glass. Sekou Omar Jabbi added 27 points on efficient shooting, while Xavier Fennell chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds to give the Capitals multiple contributors across the board. As a team, the Capitals shot 40.7% from the field and were effective at the free throw line, going 21-of-31 (67.7%), while also winning the rebounding battle with 56 total boards. For the Coyotes, Will Griffin led the way with 23 points, while Rico Burris added 16. Shamon Jackson and Ta’Shaud Alexander each contributed 20 points, helping fuel multiple comeback attempts. Miykael Faulcon added 17, giving NC a balanced offensive effort. Despite shooting a solid 40.6% from the field and knocking down 15 three-pointers, the Coyotes were unable to overcome the Capitals’ early lead and interior dominance. With the win, the Capitals not only secure the season sweep but continue to establish themselves as one of the more complete teams in the ECBL, using depth, rebounding, and timely scoring to control the matchup from start to finish.
