April 12, 2026 Spring Creek High School - The North Carolina Capitals continued their strong season with a 116–100 win over the Goldsboro Wings, using a balanced offensive attack and consistent pressure across all four quarters. The Capitals came out sharp, putting up 33 points in the first quarter and following it with another 31 in the second to take a double-digit lead into halftime. Goldsboro showed resilience, briefly matching energy in the second quarter, but NC maintained control and never allowed the Wings to fully close the gap.
Donavon Martin led the Capitals with 27 points on an efficient 13-of-24 shooting performance. Sekou Omar Jabbi added 22 points, while Xavier Fennell also finished with 22 points, giving NC a strong trio of scorers. Dyron Jones contributed a well-rounded performance with 19 points and 14 rebounds, helping anchor the Capitals on both ends of the floor.
Goldsboro was led by Donte Johnson, who had a standout performance with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Kristopher Clark added 22 points, while Tyreik Artis chipped in 14 points. Octavius Alston and Darius Best each added 10 points, but the Wings struggled to slow down the Capitals’ efficient offense. As a team, the Capitals shot nearly 49% from the field and moved the ball effectively, creating scoring opportunities throughout the game. Their ability to control tempo and execute offensively proved to be the difference.
With the win, the NC Capitals improve to 5-1 on the season, continuing to establish themselves as a top contender in the ECBL, while the Goldsboro Wings fall to 3-5.
