April 18th - As outlined in the ECBL League Rules & Regulations and league expectations, a team forfeit is considered a serious violation of league standards. The ECBL maintains a zero-tolerance position on forfeits due to their impact on scheduling, competitive balance, and the overall professionalism of the league. As such, a single forfeit results in automatic removal from league participation.

Based on this policy, the recent forfeit by the QC Vipers has resulted in removal for the remainder of the season.

This decision is made in the best interest of the league and its member organizations to uphold the standards expected across the ECBL. Any future consideration for participation will be subject to review and approval by the League Management Group.
