The first Hamden Hall Hornet Spring team in recent years reached the finals in their Spring season SCHL bracket.  It was a great accomplishment for the program to represent Hamden Hall in the SCHL Spring league.

The formation of the team comes in response to a desire to see Hamden Hall's hockey players have opportunities to skate and play outside of the regular season.  The goal is to continue with the Spring program next year and to even add a split season team for the Fall, which would play as a rostered team with a CHC organization.  The Spring season isn't a large commitment for those who play multiple sports as the games are generally on the weekend and often in the evening.

The 2018 team began with a core of existing Hamden Hall skaters and was expanded to include new admits to the Hamden Hall program as well as additional skaters.
