Protec Predators Announce Mite Coaching Staff for 2019!

Somerset, NJ - January 22, 2019:  The Protec Predators spring hockey team has officially released their mite coaching staff. For the spring of 2019, the Protec Predators will have head coaches Patrick Alvin (Predators 1) and Craig Jennings (Predators 2) leading the instruction.

Coach Alvin, 5x "The Star Ledger" & "The Courier" - Coach of the Year,  began his youth hockey coaching career as as a mite coach with the Bridgewater Bears for three years. In that time, he helped to build that program from 0 returning players to 44 skaters in a very short time. "I'm excited to work with the mites again, there is so much excitement and energy at that level. I look forward to getting to know our mite families as well," Alvin said. Chrissy Carlberg, Marketing Director at Protec has said of this important move, "We are very lucky to have Coach Alvin at the Mite level, bringing his years of experience and knowledge to our youngest developing players."

Coach Jennings has been with Protec for three seasons, and brings over 14 years of coaching experience to the table. He helped to build the new Ducks Future Development program, which has had an extremely successful pioneer season. Coach Jennings remarked, "I'm excited with the work we have done as an organization at the mite level, and look forward to continuing our success this spring and beyond."

This season, the mites will attend 1 or 2 tournaments, play 4 to 5 games versus other spring teams, two practices each week, and for the first time in Predators history, they are looking to finish off the season with a full ice inter-squad friendly. Players at this age level are between the 2014-2011 birth years. The season will begin in late March and go to mid June. Register before February 14 to receive a $50 discount. Hurry as spots are filling fast!
