The league’s annual All Star game was held earlier today, Sunday February 24, at the Smithfield Rink.  Player selections for the event were announced late Friday afternoon.  Representing Portsmouth this year were the team’s top two scoring forwards; juniors Connor Little and Max Dooley.  Both players were chosen to play in the Division II / III game.

During the current sixteen game league season Little, the team captain, scored 14 goals and had 12 assists for 26 points finishing the regular season ranked as the ninth leading scorer in Division II.  He led the team in face-off win percentage with a 58.9 percent success rate.

Dooley, an alternate captain, was the squad’s second leading scorer with seven goals and five assists for 12 points.  He was the team’s second most successful player in the face-off circle winning 53.5 percent of his draws.
