Titans Win Big

North Kansas City, MissouriAs Mid-August nears, teams in the Midwest Football Alliance are winding down their seasons in hopes of making it the big dance taking place at Valley Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa . This past Saturday Evening August 3, 2013 in North Kansas City, Missouri fans saw two such teams battling it out for a spot in the Semi-finals of the 2013 MFA Playoffs. The Midwest Titans hosted the Iowa Sharks from Sutherland, Iowa and beat the Sharks 70-7. With the win, the Titans  now have an overall 7-2 record on the 2013 season. Offensively; your Midwest Titans is averaging 38 points per game while only giving up an average of 15 points per game by the “Fastest Show on Turf” Defense of the “Mighty” Titans. The Titans will now shift all their focus on the highly talked about rematch vs the Sioux Falls, Stallions this coming Saturday Evening up north in South Dakota home of the Stallions. The Stallions have posted a 6-3 overall record and they are loaded with talent and size. The “Mighty” Titans must have a solid week of preparation and gear-up for a well-coached Stallions Football Team. Your Midwest Titans know this will be a war from the beginning to the end of the game!  The last time these two teams faced each other was the 3rd week of the regular season and the Stallions beat the Titans 40-35. Now the “Mighty” Titans are looking for revenge and will leave it all on the field this coming Saturday Evening to accomplish that goal. The “Mighty” Titans and the Stallions will kickoff at 7:00pm at O’Gorman High School District Stadium in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Midwest Titans will be making the 5 ½  hour trip up North to South Dakota on Friday Night and then back after the game on Saturday.
