TWO SELECTED AS ALL-DIVISION
2/25/2020

                                     Connor Little                                           Gus Nightingale

Connor Little and Gus Nightingale have been named by the league’s head coaches as All-Division II players for the 2019 - 20 season.

The coaches' selections recognize the league’s best players for their performances during the regular season by assigning the top skaters and goalies to three “large teams,” consisting of four forwards, three defensemen, and one goalie each, along with a standard squad of honorable mention players.  The individuals chosen are the elite players who have distinguished themselves throughout the entire season by their exceptional play which stands above the members of all the teams in the league.

Connor Little was honored as a First Team forward.  He finished the season with 10 goals and 19 assists for 29 points. He is ranked as the eighth leading scorer in the league, and was noted for his overall play and leadership on the ice.  This is the second season he has been selected as an All-Division II Player.  Last season he was named to the Third Team.

Gus Nightingale’s was picked as a member of the Honorable Mention Team.  After playing much of his high school career as a forward, he made the switch to primarily playing defense this season.  His adaptability, success, and contributions on the blue line were noted by the coaches in recognizing him as standing among the best in the Division.

Connor and Gus will be honored, along with all the other All-Division selectees, at a banquet to be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Warwick on March 18 at 6:30 pm.  There they will be presented with a plaque in recognition of their accomplishments.  Congratulations to both of them on their distinguished achievement.
