The Eastman Selects are pleased to announce forward Kylie Lesuk has committed to attend school at and play hockey for the University of Manitoba commencing the fall of 2020. The University of Manitoba is located in Winnipeg and the Bison's play in the very tough Canada West Hockey Conference of the Canada USports. Lesuk who lives in Oakbank, MB has had an impressive U18 AAA career with the Selects. During her career she has scored 58 goals and added 69 assists for 127 points in 177 games played. Lesuk was named Selects Captain this season while being named Assistant Captain the past two seasons. During her time with the Selects she has earned Rookie of the Year and Most Dedicated Player Awards. Lesuk’s skills have also earned her acknowledgement outside of the Selects earning roster spots on Hockey Manitoba’s U16 & U18 POE Teams while being named twice as a MFHL Second Team All-Star. Lesuk also excels away from the rink as she has been on her schools Honour Rolls the past 5 years as well a Female Athlete of the Year. The Eastman Selects want to congratulate Kylie on her outstanding accomplishments to date during her U18 “AAA” career and wishes her all the best with her future academic and athletic endeavours while at the University of Manitoba.
