The Eastman Selects are pleased to announce that forward Liza Vigier has committed to attend school at and play hockey for York University commencing fall, 2020. York University is located in Toronto, ON and the Lions play in the Ontario University Athletics Conference (OUA) of Canada USport.  Vigier, who hails from Beausejour, MB, is an Assistant Captain for the Selects and is entering her final year of U18 hockey. During her “AAA” hockey career she has earned 3 championships, 2 provincial titles with the U15 program before winning the MFHL championship in 2017-18. To date, Vigier has played 136 games for the U18 Selects scoring 40 goals and adding 48 assists for 88 total points.  She was selected Selects’ Rookie of the Year in her first season when she registered 35 points.  Vigier, who is 5’ 9”, is known for her strong physical play, high level of compete and work ethic. The Eastman Selects want to congratulate Liza on her outstanding accomplishments to date during her U18 “AAA” career and wishes her all the best with her future academic and athletic endeavours while at York University.
