Nipigon Elks of the LJHL have named their leaders for the 2021-2022 season. Connor Lyberger will captain the squad while Drew Laframboise and Zach Prenger were named assistant.

"I am already very proud of these fine young men and am pleased to announce them as the leaders of our team," said head coach Malcolm Sutherland. "Each of these players demonstrates resilience, commitment to the team and influential positivity with their teammates. These qualities will serve our team well!"

The Elks open the LJHL regular season on October 1 against the Thunder Bay Northern Hawks.
