Nipigon Elks continue to impress and improve with new players reporting to practice. Despite an extended break after the successful home opener vs the Hawks (4-3, Oct 1) the Elks are staying hungry.

“It’s getting tougher to crack our line up,” coach Sutherland suggests when looking at his team. “We are growing, getting better and the guys are engaged. I can’t ask for more at this stage of our season. It’s great to see new players reporting but now they really have to show something to become part of the heard!”

The Elks hit the ice again at their home in Nipigon on Friday against the Thunder Bay Bandits.
