Frank Macchi New Head Coach

Frank Filice, owner of the Northern Hawks, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Frank Macchi as the new Head Coach of the Northern Hawks. Mr. Macchi has been an integral part of the Hawks' success  for the past five seasons as an assistant coach and manager of many off-ice functions for the team. He brings a wealth of Hockey Canada coaching certifications to the team. Frank is a professional engineer and the owner of Woodbridge Constructors.

In stepping aside, Mr. Filice felt it was time to focus his efforts on the off-ice functions and managerial duties for the team. "I felt it was time the the team had a new voice and vision going forward." As the head coach of the Hawks, Frank Filice compiled an impressive coaching record since taking ownership of the team. His seven(7) years as head coach included 5 Branch Championships/League Titles, two(2) Keystone Cup Gold Medals, and a 149-43-7 overall coaching record.
