CONNOR LITTLE TO PLAY FOR UMD CORSAIRS
11/27/2022

Every few years a Patriots hockey graduate possesses the skills and dedication to continue playing at the collegiate level.  The latest among them is Connor Little.

A 2020 PHS graduate, Little was the undisputed best player for the Patriots while he was on the team.  As the team’s top scorer, he led the squad in goals, assists, and points during both his junior and senior year campaigns and ranked among the league’s top scorers.  He was a two time All Star and was twice selected by the league’s coaches as an All-Division II player.  A skilled faceoff artist, he singlehandedly took over half of the team’s draws his last two seasons, winning nearly sixty percent of them along the way.  More than just an excellent hockey player, Connor was an outstanding leader.  His potential was noted by the head coach during his first year with the team, as a sophomore.  He was subsequently chosen to be the team captain, wearing the “C” on his uniform for two seasons.  Away from the rink, Little led by example in the classroom, where his exceptional academic performance earned him a continual presence on the Honor Roll.

Since graduation Little has been playing junior hockey and is currently the captain of the Boston Junior Rangers of the Eastern Hockey League.  He recently accepted an offer from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth to enroll in the fall of 2023 and play for the Corsairs.  UMD hockey is an NCAA Division III program which competes in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Conference (MASCAC).

Congratulations to Connor Little on his past successes, and good luck in this next step in his hockey career.
