The team captains for this season were announced by former the head coach, Bryan Kriner, shortly before school recessed for the summer, earlier this year. In recent campaigns the team mimicked the NHL and many collegiate programs with a single captain and two alternates. In a change this year, there will be, once again, one captain, but three alternates were named. The players selected as captains, all seniors, were chosen for their demonstrated leadership abilities both on and off the ice. They are the players deemed best at setting the tone and creating a winning attitude for the team and providing an example for the rest of the players to follow.
Chosen to lead the team as its captain, forward Aidan Toner will wear the “C” on his game uniforms to indicate his position, Serving as alternate captains, distinguished by an “A” on their jerseys, will be forward Andrew Alvanas, defensemen James Lebreux, and Logan West.
Congratulations on their selection and good luck to all the new captains
