BRIDGE CLOSURE WILL IMPACT TRAVEL TIME TO GAMES
12/14/2023

Due to the closure of the westbound side of the Washington Bridge on I-195 in Providence it will now take somewhat longer to get to most of the Patriots away games this season.  Depending on the start time of the game and therefore the amount of traffic on the road, the delays could be significant.  Required repairs on the bridge are expected to last beyond the high school hockey season.  Portsmouth fans will find travel time to the Levy, Lynch, Magiera, and Cranston Vets ice arenas most effected by the closure.  Folks driving to those venues to watch the Patriots play should give themselves plenty of time to get there, so they don’t miss a single minute of action on the ice.  For the latest information on the bridge closure visit the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) website by clicking on this link.
